Today a friend from the Rose Society requested that I revive this blog. I have neglected it for about two years because with photos on Flickr and notes and pics on Facebook, this blog seemed redundant. Her interest has prompted me to resume so watch for new postings in the near future.

The asters bloom in September and to me, they are really worth waiting for. The red flower is a blooming bulb called "British Soldier." We need lots more of these.
