The asters bloom in September and to me, they are really worth waiting for. The red flower is a blooming bulb called "British Soldier." We need lots more of these.

Hanna's rainfall

This poem by Edwin Morgan is an interesting example of "concrete poetry" which conveys much of its meaning by its very appearance on the page. Dorothy, Gene, and Shirley
Photo collection from Eugene's camera on occasion of Shirley's visit to California. I stayed with Nate, Jess, Callan, and Oscar from Jan. 11 to Jan. 13. Then after a birthday party at Bay Wolf with John, Chris, Judi, Nick, Malc, Tessa, Nate and Jess, and Gene and Dorothy, I stayed with Gene and Dorothy until Jan. 19.
